This is an invitation to your homecoming
Many of us feel disconnected. We feel a misalignment in the life that we lead from the life our heart desires. Yet, that voice from within seems silent as we fill our time with things to do, time with our devices, working hard to the point of exhaustion. You may feel unsure how to get out of this cycle, you just know that something needs to change. It's time for a Sacred Pause, a return to yourself. It's time to accept this invitation to your homecoming.

Forest bathing, also known as Shinrin-yoku, is a practice that involves spending time in nature to promote relaxation and well-being. It’s not about rigorous hiking or exercise; instead, it’s about immersing yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest to help reduce stress and improve your overall health.

Yes, generally forest bathing is safe. It is not a strenuous hike, nor do we ask you to do anything dangerous. It is a gentle walk with a focus on your senses and slowing down.

Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) is a therapeutic technique that combines music and guided imagery to help individuals explore their inner world and promote healing. Developed by Dr. Helen Bonny, this method uses specially selected classical music to guide the listener through a series of visualizations and reflections. The goal is to help you access deeper levels of consciousness, reduce stress, and enhance your overall well-being.

While a cool and crisp day with sunshine would be optimal, Mother Nature operates on her own schedule. We will have back ups planned for our activities. It is also an opportunity to shift our perception and relationship with rain. If conditions are still safe, we will do the forest bathing with rain. Come prepared for the rain with clothes or an umbrella just in case.

The retreat serves as an invitation and opportunity to do a digital detox. That being said, it is an invitation. We will not confiscate your devices, though we will highly encourage to spend your time in reflection and connection.
