Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

At Sacred Space Therapy and Wellness, we are committed to providing accessible, fair, and transparent mental health and wellness services. Please review our policy below, which applies to all clients, including those on sliding scale arrangements and package deals.

1. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings require full or partial payment as specified at the time of booking.

  • For prepaid packages or services over HK$3,000, you are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period as per Hong Kong consumer protection proposals.

2. Cooling-Off Period

  • You may cancel your booking within 7 calendar days of payment (the cooling-off period) and receive a full refund.

  • To exercise this right, notify us in writing at sacredspacetherapyandwellness@gmail.com within the cooling-off period.

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of your request.

 

3. Sliding Scale and Packages

  • Sliding scale fees are available for underserved, marginalised, and socially vulnerable communities*. The same refund and cancellation policies apply to all clients, regardless of fee arrangement.

  • For prepaid packages, refunds will be prorated based on the number of unused sessions, minus a 10% administrative fee.

  • Used sessions will be charged at the standard single-session rate.

  • Please contact us to discuss any concerns regarding your package or sliding scale arrangement.

* Underserved communities, marginalised, and socially vulnerable communities include, but are not limited to: low income families and individuals living below the poverty line, children and youth in poverty, the elderly, ethnic minorities (South Asians including: Pakistani, Filipino, Malaysian, Thai, Nepalese, Indonesians, etc), new immigrants, disabled individuals, ex-mental patients, ex-offenders, those with low education levels, residents of remote and new town areas.

 

4. Cancellations and Refunds 

 

​7 days or more in advance | Full Refund

48 hours to less than 7 days | 50% refund

Less than 48 hours or no-show | No refund

 

  • Refunds are calculated based on the time of written notice received at sacredspacetherapyandwellness@gmail.com or Whatsapp +85247087200.

  • For missed sessions in a package, the session will be counted as used.

  • After the cooling-off period, regular cancellation and refund policies apply.

 

5. Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.

  • Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability and must be completed within 6 months of the original booking date.

 

6. No-Shows and Late Arrivals

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late are considered a no-show.

  • No refunds are given for no-shows.

 

7. Online and In-Person Sessions

  • This policy applies equally to both online and in-person sessions.

  • For online sessions, if technical issues prevent the session from taking place, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost.

 

8. Cancellation by Sacred Space Therapy and Wellness

  • If we must cancel a session due to hazardous weather, practitioner illness, or venue closure, you will be notified as soon as possible.

  • You may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund for the canceled session.

 

9. Emergencies and Special Considerations

  • We understand that emergencies happen. If you experience an unforeseen circumstance, please contact us as soon as possible. We may offer flexibility on a case-by-case basis, but refunds are not guaranteed.

 

10. Consent

  • All clients must sign a consent form before their first session (see below).
